Arcus College Heerlen

Elegant shades of grey Arturo resin have been installed within corridors, the cafeteria and all other public areas of the new Arcus College in Heerlen creating beautiful yet functional spaces. Slip resistant coatings were also applied within the emergency stair cases, parking and bicycle storage areas. Approximately 11,400 square metres of resin flooring was installed across the entire project in total.

Thousands of students use the corridors and public areas on a daily basis so a long lasting and durable solution was required.  Approximately 6,300 m² of resin floor screeds were installed at 2 mm thickness with decorative flakes, which created a beautiful finish.  The project was completed in May 2014 and Arcus College is very pleased with the result. Wim Florie, the Facility Manager said "The resin floor is not only beautiful, but also very practical. A very nice feature for a school environment."
